| Description | This is an evergreen, upright growing magnolia reaching 4m. Being naturally dense in habit, with a tight, compact form, it is ideal used as an informal hedge. Leaves are large and rounded - glossy and dark green on top with felted, bronze undersides. Sporadic large white flowers appear during the warmer months from late spring through to autumn. |

| Uses | Makes a great feature tree in any size garden. Also good in streetscapes and parks. Due to its dense form, 'Teddy Bear' can make a fragrant hedge or screen. |
| Position & Soil | It grows and flowers best in full sun positions. In part shade, flowering is considered steady. Prune to shape in spring. Benefits from the application of a balanced long-term fertiliser. Magnolias require organic, well-drained soil with summer irrigation for success. This tree is a low water user once established. |
